I didn't expect to like Cannes as much as I did. It so reminded me of Santa Barbara, like the south of France often does and yet I expected…a less open, friendly vibe than I found. It was enchanting and delicious and I will go back. Traveling is so important to really understand what it means when a client wants to acknowledge a favorite place or a heritage with their menu. The culture, the style and the flavors are so very unique to each place. I have been to France more than a dozen times and yet each trip gives me so many lessons on a billion details that make each region so spectacular.
