Firestone Vineyard is host to hundreds of Weddings in Santa Barbara Wine Country for it’s majestic views and beautiful ceremony options. Rebecca and Max Wallhausser chose the stunning Firestone Barrel Room to host their closest friends and family during their Wedding Reception.
Guests were welcomed upon arrival with a rustic style lemonade stand to quench their thirst while they wait for the ceremony to begin. Options of Ginger Pineapple Fizz with Fresh Pineapple Wedges, Icy Jamaica or Hibiscus Sweet Tea or Freshly Squeezed Cherry Lemonade with farm fresh Lemon or Cherries.
Following the ceremony guests entered the Barrel Room where a long stretch of communal seating was flawlessly set for a family style dinner service. The chandeliers gave off just the right amount of mood lighting to highlight the remaining evening’s events and delicious food.
Laughter, chatter and the sweet sound of sharing was happening all at once while everyone took turns passing the amazing family style plates:
Tossed Organic Baby Greens with Gorgonzola, Toasted Pecans, Strawberries and Fresh Orange Vinaigrette // Baskets of Hearth Baked Breads and Rolls with Herb Pressed Crocks of Sweet Butter // Asparagus with Pesto and Toasted Pine Nuts // Bourbon Maple Glazed Butternut Squash // Grilled Parmesan Rosemary Polenta Triangles with Truffle Oil & Shaved Parmesan // Portabello Mushroom Raviolis with Browned Sage Butter // Fire Grilled Tenderloin with Fresh Thyme & Butter Sauteed Mushrooms
The wedding ceremony and reception was timeless. The lovely bride still remembers it like it was yesterday…
“You guys were amazing. Even now, 2 ½ years later I STILL have people telling me how great the food was at our wedding. I recommend you to everyone I know who is planning a wedding in/around Santa Barbara! My husband still talks about the steak and I still dream about that polenta and ravioli."
Life just doesn’t get much better than this. Cheers to Rebecca and Max, may your future be as sweet as your wedding was.
