Planning a vegan wedding menu can be a delightful opportunity to showcase the incredible diversity and deliciousness of plant-based cuisine. Forget bland salads and tofu scrambles - embrace bold flavors, vibrant colors, and creative textures to create a feast that will leave your guests raving, regardless of their dietary preferences, and turn even the most decerning meat lover into embracing the veggie spotlight at your event.

At Pure Joy Catering, we create a menu designed for each occasion, specifically designed to the wedding couple's preferences. More and more we are getting requests for culturally inspired, vegan, gluten-free, and other special menus designed for their tastes. It is, after all, your special day!

It is our job to take your vision of your perfect meal and curate the perfect menu that will flow seamlessly from course to course that is visually appealing and tastes like your dream come true. From a plated dinner to a fun rustic buffet theme, it is time for vegan food to truly shine and take center stage on your plate.

Of course, we have fantastic salads (and we do them very well!) and with the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market at our disposal down the street, we continually embrace our plant lovers with the abundance of plant-based options in our area and saying "I Do" to flavor truly making those tasty greens the focus of the event.

Vegetables make for the most vibrant of plates or via our bountiful stations overflowing with greenery, herbs, and flowers that the season has to offer. Typically, Chef Marguerite is inspired by what she sees at the Farmer's Market which is visited twice a week to shop for ingredients and to match the organic decor with our upcoming weddings and their color palate. The details are not overlooked, especially by our kitchen team who create art on a plate designed with each couple's preferences in mind.

We believe vegan, vegetarian, and health-conscious ways of eating are not a fad, but here to last and have not one, but two, dedicated website pages, Roots, Stems & Petals and Gluten Free/Vegan, of available choices to create the perfect menu. After all, shouldn't everyone not just be satisfied with the limited "vegetarian/vegan option" as your menu choice, but blown away by the delicious and inspiring menu options available to them?

That's not to say that we can't take a dish you see on our menu and alter it to personalize it to your needs. Embracing dietary restrictions and preferences offers us a chance to take what we already know and alter it for your special day. Vegan Mac n Cheese, ummm...1. yes and 2. yummy! Soyrizo Enchiladas, we got you! In fact, we make our own vegan butter in our kitchen ensuring the quality of each dish.

So let's do this and create that vegan menu of your dreams that will not only make your wedding day that more personalized and special to you but also be a crowd-pleaser that even the biggest steak lovers will enjoy and be impressed by the options and flavors.
