From a ten-piece band to a solo harpist and all the jazz trios, string quartets, and DJs in between we love music and believe it to be integral to a great event. There is so much to choose from to personalize your celebration and evoke a wide range of emotions from your guests throughout your affair.
You can bring them to tears as you walk down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, jazz up your cocktail hour with the classic Take Five by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, and several hours later make them want to Shout with The Isley Brothers on the dance floor.
Of course, budget factors into what you will choose but when it is possible, everyone loves a live performance. If a band is not in your budget many of today's talented professional DJs and entertainment companies go beyond the standard speaking and spinning by incorporating live singers, dancers, and percussion elements to elevate the excitement.
Remember all entertainment and wedding professionals will need to take a well-deserved break during your event. Be sure to coordinate your special requests carefully and plan to have alternate tunes ready to keep the momentum of your party going while everyone catches their breath. No matter what you choose it is perfectly fine to spend more time on the playlist than the guest list and you will always end on a high note!
This blog was inspired by a performance of the The Blue Breeze Band.
We hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
