Burgundy Bliss Florals
October is the perfect month for wonderful wedding weather. It’s beautiful, sunny, predictable and the Fall Season provides beautiful food and rich Fall tones. Pure Joy had the pleasure of providing 150 guests delicious eats and the plated meals looked absolutely stunning on the mixed metal chargers. Crossroad’s wooden industrial pole barn fashioned as a beautiful backdrop and the Burgundy floral accents were perfect for the Fall weather.
Guests were welcomed with refreshing Farmer’s Market Berry Spritzers, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade & Organic Cucumber Spa Water to get them hydrated and feeling refreshed for the festivities that lay ahead. Guests sipped their Pure Joy beverages while watching the exchanging of nuptials underneath their token ceremony Oak Tree. We loved the organic style of this ceremony arch that Anna Le Pley Taylor set; it looked stunning as it took the natural shape of the tree and was the perfect frame for the Bride & Groom.
Everyone mingled outside, got their hands on some adult beverages from the bar and snacked on our passed appetizers. The three appetizers were absolute crowd pleasers; Wedges of Grilled Tortillas with Brie, Cherries, Caramelized Onions and Mango Confetti, Sambuca marinated Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp with Rosemary & Bite Sized Cocktail Hamburgers with all the Trimmings. After an hour of mingling everyone files into the pole barn for the remainder of the evening’s events. The barn has one side of open air and the other with numerous windows to provide beautiful natural light inside. For a little extra ambiance, chandeliers were hung from the ceilings and it truly was the perfect finishing touch for this already gorgeous venue.
We set wooden planks of Fresh Baked Rustic Multigrain Loaves with Maldon Flake Salt & Herb Pressed Butter on the tables while we served a delicious Tossed Greens, Arugula, Candied Pecan, Pear, Gorgonzola Salad with a Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Next up guests had the delicious options of Grilled Halibut with Fresh Local Arugula Pesto or Slow Braised Boneless Short Ribs. Our vegetarians of the evening got to enjoy a delicious Portobello Mushroom Ravioli with Browned Sage Butter dish. After a successful meal and fantastic toasts from family members the evening continued to be a success.
